UNIOSUN Admission Screening 2016: Eligibility, Screening And Registration Details

The management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced the admission screening registration and details for 2016/2017 academic session.

Eligibility
The exercise is for candidates who chose Osun State University as their First choice, with a minimum score of 180 in 2016 UTME.

However, candidates that scored less than 200 would not be considered for admission into any of the underlisted programmes:
♦ Accounting
♦ Economics,
♦ Political Science,
♦ Business Administration,
♦ Nursing Science,
♦ Law

Meanwhile, candidates who chose any of these courses but scored less than 200 could change to any other relevant programme of their choice.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website: http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng

This will take you to the online Application Platform.
Ensure you read all registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.

Payment of N2, 500.00 for the screening online Application is through the Interswitch Web PAY platform using your ATM cards (Master Card, Verve card and Interswitch enabled Cards.)

You are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission. One of these two copies should be brought along together with a copy of the candidate’s UTME score print-out on the day of the screening exercise. The second copy is to be submitted upon admission to the University.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line following the same process as above and report on the screening day. They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcript to the Registrar of Osun State University before the commencement of screening exercise.

SCREENING DATE AND CENTRES
screening exercise will hold from Monday 5th to Friday 9th September 2016 at 9am - 5pm .

All candidates (UTME and Direct Entry) are to report for screening at the date and centres indicated on their online registration printout.

Candidates must report at least one hour before the commencement of the exercise.

All applicants must come to the screening centres with their O/L result checker or scratch cards.

CLOSING DATE: Submission of forms closes at 12.00 noon on Friday 2nd September, 2016

All applicants are required to present the following documents at the screening Centre.

Each candidate will be required to pay the sum of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only as Internet Access charge at the point of screening.

JAMB To Validate The Admission Lists Of Various Tertiary Institutions This Week




Meeting Schedule
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that arrangements have been concluded to hold a technical meeting at the Bayero University in Kano from Aug. 22 to Aug. 26, 2016.

According to the board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, during the meeting, the board will receive the lists of candidates who had met the admission criteria from the various tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.)

The Board will then go through the list with other stake holders to see if they comply with the admission criteria.

If the board is satisfied with the outcome, it will ratify the lists and admission print-outs issued to the respective institutions.

Consequent upon that, the names of successful candidates would be uploaded on the website of the respective institutions for candidates to view and print their admission letters.

The admission letters will bear details such as admission status, school and course of study, and equally the duration of such course of study.

Eligibility/Entry Requirements
Prospective candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 180 in the 2016 UTME.

ESUT Admission Screening Registration 2016/2017 Announced

This is to inform aspirants of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) that the admission screening registration for 2016/2017 has been announced.

Online registration for screening from Monday, August 22nd to Friday, September 2nd 2016.

Eligibility
All candidates who made Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) their choice university for the 2016/2017 and scored 180 and above.

Method Of Application
To register, follow the steps outlined below:

-Log in to the University website - www.esut.edu.ng
-Click on University Portal
-Click on Admission Screening Registration
-Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
-Generate an e-tranzact Invoice from any of the following banks and proceed to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (₦2,500.00) only:

-Return to the portal and enter your JAMB Registration number again.

-Print out your acknowledgement slip.

All those who made Federal University Lokoja their most preferred choice and also scored 180 and above but missed the First Admission Screening Exercise can now visit the University website and register for the second Admission Screening Exercise which would hold on Wednesday 24th August, 2016. The screening will be purely interactive.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Candidates must have a valid e-mail address before starting the application process because the password specified by candidate at the point of registration will be required during the screening.
-Visit www.fulokoja.edu.ng
-Click on Admissions Screening.
-Login with your valid JAMB Registration number to confirm eligibility.
-Update your bio data and exam records (O'Level). Upload a RECENT and CLEAR COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN “jpeg” FORMAT ONLY. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.
-Generate and print payment invoice from the University's Admission Screening Portal (NOTE: Payment invoice generated directly from REMITA's website will not be automatically processed)
-Pay Screening fee of ₦2,500.00 using REMITA services (card or bank payment)

For Card Payment:Visit remita.net, Click on "Pay an Electronic Invoice", Enter your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), and process your payment with relevant card details.

For Bank Payment:Visit any bank of your choice that offers REMITA services and pay using your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) on your invoice.
-Return to the University Portal and confirm your payment.
-Print out your screening slip.

BASU Admission Screening Exercise 2016/2017 Announced

This is to inform aspirants of Bauchi State University, Gadau that the admission screening exercise of the institution for the 2016/2017 academic session has been announced.

Eligibility
Candidates must have chosen Bauchi State University as first choice in the last UTME and scored a minimum of 180.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 5 credit passes in the relevant subject at not more than two sittings.

Application Procedure
Candidates are to pay a non refundable amount of N2500 (subject to bank charges) at any First Bank Plc branch in favour of the Bauchi State University.

Screening Date and Details
The screening exercise, which will take place on 29th to 31st August, 2016.

Unity College Admission List 2016/2017 Released

The admission list of successful candidates into the Federal Unity Colleges, FUCs, for the 2016/2017 academic year has been released.

According to the analysis, a total of 89,231 candidates took part in the examination. 46,869 met the cut-off mark.

It was learnt that out of those that made the cut-off mark, 24,422 candidates have been admitted, with Federal Government Girls’ College, FGGC, Bwari; Federal Government Girls’ College, FGGC, Owerri and Federal Government College, FGC, Enugu topping the list with a total of 400 students each.

Federal Science and Technical College, FSTC, Otukpo and Federal Government Girls’ College, FGGC, Tambuwal had the least number of 120 candidates each.
