This is to invite candidates who sat for 2016/2017 academic session UTME examination and scored 180 and above, to register for their Federal College of Education, Abeokuta post UTME screening exercise.

Other candidates that did not choose the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, can also apply for the post UTME screening, provided he/she qualified and met the requirements for he/her particular course of study.

Method of Application

Non-refundable screening application payment of N2,500.00 (inclusive of Bank Charges) should be paid through eTranzact platform from any bank in Nigeria, where a Confirmation Order / PIN Code to register is provided after the payment.

Consequent upon payment of the specified fees, candidates will access the registration portal with the PIN/Confirmation Codes obtained from the Bank.

Upon entering the portal: http://www.fceabeokuta.net/, candidates are to create his/her profile by Clicking on REGISTER Menu, His/her chosen User ID and Password will be his / her login particulars to complete the registration.

A mail will be sent to the email address he/she provided while registering, go to your email box and click on the link sent there to continue your registration.

Login with your User ID and Password, then Click on SCREENING REGISTRATION Menu to enter your Confirmation Order / PIN code and your details. Do not click on SAVE permanently if you wish to come back at a later date and edit.

NB: Candidates are advised to only SUBMIT their registration, if they still have intention of coming back to edit or supply additional information at a later date, because once they SAVE permanently the application cannot be re-visited.

Method Of Application
Interested Applicants are to purchase their application forms Online using a valed VERVE or MASTERCARD from nay Commercial bank in Nigeria.

6. An immediate mail will be sent to the provided e-mail address.
7. Open your mail to get your system generated ID and Password that you will use to login.
8. On uniben.waeup.org click on 'Login' (top right of the front page).
9. Enter your user name and the password from the mail to login.
10. To start the application process, please click
on 'Edit application record' and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
11. Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph
uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.
FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUAILIFICATION AND FAILURE/ FORFEITURE OF ADMISSION

BUK Admission Screening Registration & Method of Application 2016/2017 Announced

STEP 1: At the homepage of the Bayero University Website, www.buk.edu.ng click 2016/2017 UTME REGISTRATION FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

STEP 2: Login using your UTME Number and UTME Aggregate (total score), then upload your passport-sized photograph. Note that the photograph uploaded will be only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in Bayero University,Kano.

STEP 3:  Fill-in the Applicants’ Particulars Form.

STEP 4: Print your personalized payment invoice to make the payment of N2,500.00 (N2,000 being cost of screening and N500 being Bank and Administrative charges) at any commercial bank nationwide via the Remita platform.

STEP 5: After making the payment, return to the website, www.buk.edu.ng and login again. Your payment will be validated after which you can print your personalized acknowledgment slip. Preview and confirm your information before printing your acknowledgement slip. Note that applicants cannot print their acknowledgement slip until payment is processed and verified.

APPLICATION FOR PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING INTO UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME, 2016/2017 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to advise all Candidates who selected University of Abuja as their first choice
Institution in the 2016 JAMB UTME/DE that Applications are hereby, invited from
suitably qualified candidates for Pre-admission Screening into Undergraduate
programmes of the University, for the 2016/2017 Academics Session to visit the
University’s Portal (www.unibuja.com) and submit their O’level results or/and Direct
entry qualifications through the University Web portal (www.unibuja.com) from
Thursday 28th July 2016.

The physical interaction and sighting of original certificates will commence from the
date of resumption of 2016/2017 Academic Session in the University, at various
Faculty/Department of Candidates’ course of choice.

A. ELIGIBILITY
i. Only UTME/DE Candidates who selected University of Abuja are
eligible for Pre-admission Screening.
ii. UTME Candidates must have scored minimum of 180 and made
University of Abuja first choice Institution to be eligible for Preadmission
Screening.
iii. Awaiting Result Candidates who expects the release of their result
before the Pre-admission screening processes is concluded can also
apply and must update their results on the portal not later then 15th
September, 2016.

B. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
i. All Candidates for Undergraduate studies in the University of Abuja
must have obtained at least five (5) credits including English and
Mathematics in not more than two sittings in WASC, NECO, GCE
(Ordinary Level) or their equivalent, depends on various Course of
choice.
ii. UTME Candidates must meet the Subjects combination requirements.
iii. Candidates seeking for direct entry admission into any of the
Undergraduate Programme must possess an Advance level Result, OND
or HND with a minimum grade of lower credit, University degree with
minimum grade of third class or their equivalent.

C. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. UTME Candidates whose UTME or O’level Subjects combination
requirements are not met are eligible to apply for change of course to
another course of which subjects combinations are met.
2. Each Candidate shall bring along to the venue of the screening the
following:
i. Acknowledgement Slip/Receipt and Application Form Printout
as it admits candidate to the physical interaction and sighting of
original certificate screening.
ii. Original Certificate/JAMB Result Slip/Direct Entry Registration
Slip.
iii. Candidates are to arrive at the screening venue by 9:00a.m.

Screening to apply Online. Please note the following:
 Mix-up in the application by applicants would attract extra charges
 Multiple applications are not allowed, but if you have applied for both
UTME/DE should be paid for and fill forms separately
 Error in completion and submission of forms during the process of
application would lead to loss of application processing for the academic
session.(e.g. selecting Economics Instead of Accounting.)
 A candidate who is not admitted into the programme applied for cannot
transfer the application for consideration into another programme
 Statement of result of four (4) years and above will not be accepted for
admission (Candidate should therefore obtain certificate from the relevant
examination body).
Pre-admission Screening Application fees (N2,500) are non-refundable.

Screening, print procedure to access sales of forms from the Portal,
generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), make payment online (Form fee
N2,500) Fill form online, save and submit, print Pre-admission Screening
Acknowledgement Slip/Receipt and Application Form Printout Online.
Please note that the sales of Pre-admission screening application forms commences
on Thursday, 28th July, 2016.

CLOSING DATE
The Online Screening Application form will close on Wednesday, 17th August, 2016
(Three weeks) at 11:59pm. Completed online application form printout and other
relevant documents are to be presented at the physical interaction and sighting of
original certificate exercise. Short listed Candidates shall be published on the
University Web Portal at a later date.

JAMB New Boss Promises Improvement Of Policies, Reveals His Five Point Agenda

The new Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during the formal handing over ceremony in Abuja on Monday assured his predecessor, Prof Dibu Ojerinde of his willingness to continue the implementation of good policies he embarked upon.

He however added that there is still enough room for improvement and whether his tenure will be long, short or truncated is not really important. The important thing is for him to do his bit and leave the stage better than he met it just like his predecessors have done. He equally called for collective responsibility towards making the Board even greater.

He went further to reveal his five point agenda for the board which includes enhanced staff welfare, discipline, improved technology, transparency and advanced networking

Responding to this, the outgoing Registrar Prof. Ojerinde, expressed hopes that the new JAMB Boss will make the Board better.

“I am sure you will make things better than you found it. I am not surprised you are coming.” He stated.

He further called on the staff of the board to give the new registrar the same cooperation they gave him during his tenure.
