Official: JAMB Confirms 2016 Examination To Begin February 29th

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has disclosed that the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will begin on February 29.
This was made known by the JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

The examination which will last for one week will have one million candidates participating. About 500 Internet-complaint centres will be used for the Computer-based Test in the country while seven others will be used outside the country.

Candidates have been directed to re-print their registration slip by visiting any JAMB accredited Computer-Based Centre or cybercafé from February 18th, 2016 to know their exact examination date, time of examination and venue.

Candidates are also advised to arrive at their various centres/venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time and ensure they adhere strictly to their examination date, time and venue as a candidate who misses his or her examination will have no opportunity to write again.

UNILORIN Admission List, Acceptance Fee Payment/Registration Procedure 2015/2016 Released

This is inform the public especially aspirants of University of Ilorin that they can now check their admission status on the school website as the list of admitted candidates have been uploaded.

Admitted candidates are advised to proceed to pay their acceptance fee and complete their registration online.

Guidelines to Check Your Admission Status and Pay Acceptance Fee

All prospective candidates are expected to visit the University undergraduate portal via this link: http://www.uilugportal.unilorin.edu.ng/
2. Click on "Pre-Admission Screening Login"
3. Enter JAMB Registration Number as your Login-ID and your Surname in the spaces provided, e.g JAMB Registration No: 23455677FC and Surname: Abu.
4. Click on "Login"
5. On the Menu List on the left hand side, click on "Click on Check Admission Status" Link
6. Admitted candidates are to proceed to the payment of Acceptance of N20,000.00 plus N250.00 processing fees by clicking on "Click here to make Payment" button.
7. Click on "Continue" button if displayed.
8. After Successful Payment: Two links will be displayed on the left hand side Menu List. Click "Upload Document(s)" to continue.
9. For each upload, ensure that correct information is recorded by cross-checking your data with the table underneath.
10. After completing Step 9 above, Check on the Portal regularly for your clearance status.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR ADVERTISED COURSES

1) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for advert/shopping fee.
Take the Invoice to any branch of Zenith Bank, UBA, First Bank, Access Bank and Fidelity Bank on the etranzact platform to pay ten thousand naira (N10,000) advert/shopping fee. Ensure that the Invoice Number is keyed in appropriately at the bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing a Confirmation Number and your Invoice Number.

2) Return to the University of Nigeria website again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then print the Advert/Shopping Slip and complete the Advert/Shopping Form online.

3) Applications open on Monday, 21st September and closes on Monday, 28th September, 2015.

4) Candidates must possess the University Minimum/Departmental Entry Requirement for the courses applied for and must have taken the correct UTME subjects in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and PUTME for 2015.

5) Candidates admitted to a particular course through this Advert would not be permitted to register in any other course during the 2015/2016 academic year.

STAFF REQUEST FORM: 2015 UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION
This is to also inform interested staff of the university that staff request form for admission into the University for 2015/2016 session is available in the UNN web portal for the consideration of staff, their spouses and biological children who scored 200 or above in the PUTME or Direct Entry Screening Exercise but were not in the 2015 Primary Admission List.
Interested staff should:

 1) Visit the University of Nigeria Website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for Staff Request form fee. Take the Invoice to any branch of Zenith Bank, UBA, First Bank, Access Bank or Fidelity Bank on the e-tranzact platform to pay two thousand naira (N2, 000.00) Staff Request Form Fee. Ensure that the Invoice Number is keyed in appropriately at the bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing a Confirmation Number and your Invoice Number.

UNN Notice On Online Generation of Invoices/Payments

UNN Primary Admission List 2015/2016 Released

The university of Nigeria Nsukka has released the 2015/2016 primary admission list.

The admission list can be viewed via the pdf file below;

Candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:

1) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for acceptance fee.

Take the Invoice to any branch of Zenith bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank and First Bank on the e-tranzact platform to pay twenty five thousand naira (N25, 000) acceptance fee.

Ensure that the Invoice Number is keyed in appropriately at the bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing a Confirmation Number and your Invoice Number.

2) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.

3) Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated on the University of Nigeria website.
